Speedy Access Sucks

Speedy Access out of Willowbrook, Illinois sucks. We currently have it for our apartment in Orchard Lakes. We pay Speedy Access $60.00 per month and it is a little faster than dial up. Then why stay with Speedy Access? It is the only thing available. No DSL and no Comcast. The big problem lately with Speedy Access is that our Internet has been down for almost 2 weeks! But does Speedy Access call it's customers?...no! I have called numerous times and left messages, but no one has called back. What service huh! I would recommend staying away from Speedy Access because it is not High Speed as they state.

Stay Away from Speedy Access

Why else does speedy access suck? You have to put $99.00 down for a T1 line box, and if you have more than one PC, Speedy Access charges you per PC.

Bad Experience with Bob Rohrman (Schaumburg) - Pat Mucia
My girlfriend and I went looking for a new car, a sunfire we had seen in AutoFocus from Bob Rohrman's Used Car Superstore. It was listed as $3800.00. We ended up taking a test drive to see how well the car handled and how many miles it had. It handled alright, was a little shakey when idling. The car had almost 73,000 miles on it so we really didn't know it it was the right choice, we had a few other cars to look at anyway.

We ended up talking to the Sales Manager, Pat Mucia, about the car. We told him that we saw a few other cars with much less mileage around the same price. He came back to us saying "Could I sell you this car for $2000.00?". We were pretty stunned, I mean the AutoFocus price was $3800.00 and the sticker price was $4999.00. That sounded like a great deal. We told him that the price would make us def think about buying the car. Pat Mucia then told us it was the end of the month and he needed to sell some cars. We told him he would go out to lunch and think about it. This was a great deal for the car, so much a deal, that we didn't even go to look at the other cars.

So we came back about an hour later, long drive to get there. We spoke with Susan and told her that we were now interested in buying the car. She gave us a awkward look at said ok, "let me see how much we owe on the car". What does that mean? Anyway, Pat Mucia of Bob Rohrman came back and said..."Alright, this is the final price we can do on the car, $3995.00." WHAT!?, what happened to the $2000.00 price, I mean the price he said was the lowest he could give us was still more than the price in AutoFocus. He told us he just said that because he wanted to know a number I would spend on the car. Why? Why would you ask someone if they would take the car for $2000.00 and then only sell it to them for twice the price?...bait and switch technique. Does bobrohrmansuperstore's manager always do this, bait and switch tactics, like Pat Mucia did? Why did he do this? Maybe because we are young, maybe because he like's to rip people off. I really an not sure. I would never recommend someone going there, especially with a lying manager like Pat Mucia.
